Film production looking for Japanese EXTRAS in the Netherlands!
Catch & Cumbia is a hybrid documentary about the unlikely friendship between Mexican Catch fighter El Demasiado and Dutch visual artist and Cumbia musician Dick Verdult. When they meet in Mexico they embark on a road trip through Mexico and to Japan.
Catch & Cumbia will be shown at film festivals around the world and in art house cinemas in the Netherlands.
The scene we want to shoot in the Netherlands is at a fairground ride: the Cakewalk. In the film we are in Japan and cut to the Cakewalk scene where we see some Japanese looking people at the Cakewalk, only to find out it’s not in Japan when we hear the man of the Cakewalk speak in Dutch. It’s a funny twist in the film.
Shooting will take a couple of hours on August 29, we can offer a travel fee for the extras of €50 each. The Cakewalk is set up in Liessel, Brabant.
We are looking for Japanese looking extras:
6 young women (18-30 years of age) and
1 young man (18-30 years) and
1 older man (30-60 years）
You don’t have to speak Japanese, you just have to be yourself.
